Did you know March is Pet Poison Prevention Month?
Pets can be very curious and often find items that may be harmless to us but toxic to them! Pet poison prevention starts with awareness; we have listed the most common dangers below! ☠️

🍫 Chocolate
🧄 Human Foods (Garlic, Onion, Grapes, Raisins, Caffeine, Alcohol)
🐀 Rodenticides (Rat Poison)
💊 Human Medications (Anti-Inflammatory, Antidepressants, Acetaminophen, etc.)
🍭 Xylitol
🌸 Flowers (Lilies, Tulips, Daffodils, etc.)
🪏 Fertilizer

🐾 ❗️If you think your pet has ingested something toxic, contact a pet poison hotline immediately (ASPCA Poison Control (888)-426-4435 or Pet Poison Helpline (855)-764-7661) and contact the nearest 24/7 emergency hospital for immediate treatment!

We’re excited to shine this week’s spotlight on Dr. Swaress! She is the newest member of our team, and she has been having a great time meeting all of our amazing patients! Major was a very good boy for his visit and he definitely enjoyed meeting Dr. Swaress.

We are so grateful for the dedication and kindness Dr. Swaress brings to our patients and clients; she believes that client education and communication are a huge part of your pet’s care!

✨When you refer a new client to our practice, have them bring your filled out card to their first appointment.

We are trying something new for the month of March, we will be offering extended hours (8am-8pm) on Wednesdays and Thursdays!

Appointments will be limited, be sure to call and schedule ahead. We would also love your feedback at the end of the month, if these later hours work well for you and your pets - let us know! 🐶❤️🐱
