We still have some file cabinets, book shelves, tables, phones,
computers, and chairs remaining. We also have children's toys and
books. We were big holiday decorators, so there are many, many holiday decorations for sale as well. Also still some office supplies.

Want to let everyone know, we will be having an office furniture and art sale at Dr Noll's office that has closed at 1123 Montour Rd, Loysville on Saturdays May 4th and 11th from 8 to 12.
Many different desks, tables, and shelving units. Several sets of high quality waiting room chairs. Many different common office supplies. Some toys, framed Ned Smith bird prints and other artwork. Miscellaneous Christmas decorations.
Cash or approved check only.
There are no longer any patient records on site.

Our office is closing
Due to health reasons, Jon E Noll regretfully announces the permanent closure of his optometry practice effective December 31, 2023.

The office will remain fully staffed during regular hours until December 16, 2023.

After December 16, patients’ records can be picked up on these dates:

Dr. Noll is announcing his optometry practice, which since the mid 1980's has been seeing patients in two locations, will be consolidating into one office. Effective January 1, 2023, Dr. Noll will be continuing his practice at 1123 Montour Road, Loysville, PA, directly across from the Perry Health Center. All patients from his former office at 1440 State Road, Duncannon, PA are invited to continue under his care at his newer and larger office in Loysville. All patient records will be transferred and the same level of care will be continued, with office hours staying consistent with the past:

Mon. 9-5, Tues. 8-5, Wed. 9-8, Thurs. 9-8, Fri. 8-5, and Sat. 8-1.

Dr. Noll and his staff look forward to continuing their excellent provision of all levels of optometric care to everyone they are currently servicing, as well as any new patients wishing to be seen. Please call the Loysville office at 717-789-3830 with any questions or concerns, or to schedule your appointment in the new year. Thank you for your continued trust is us for all your eyecare needs.

January is Glaucoma Awareness Month. Glaucoma is called the silent thief is sight because, there are no symptoms until it is very advanced. Risk factors for Glaucoma are age, family history of Glaucoma, diabetes and being African American or Hispanic. Early diagnosis is critical to preserving sight. The best defense is a yearly comprehensive eye exam.

A blink lasts approximately one tenth of a second but there is no clear cut average number of blinks per minute. In fact, blink rates per minute vary from 2 blinks to 50 blinks per minute per person. This means that in one minute people spend between 1/5 of a second to 5 seconds with their eyes closed! Unless you are a baby, in which case you won’t actually start blinking until you are 6 months old…

Dr Noll grew up in PA and pursued his passion for medicine through Optometry school in Philadelphia followed by three years serving in the US Air Force. Following his commitment, he followed his love for Central PA home to Perry County where him and his wife raised their family and have been in practice for 35 years. Dr Noll continues to enjoy serving the optometric needs of the Perry County community.
