Growth requires accountability. We can’t expect better behavior from our teens if there are no real consequences tied to their actions. Discipline isn’t about punishment, it’s about teaching responsibility, structure, and respect. When expectations are clear and consequences are consistent, that’s when real change begins. Take those phones away, restrict them from the internet, give them extra chores or whatever makes them uncomfortable.

Today was one of those moments that reminded me why I do what I do. 🙌🏽

I had the opportunity to treat these two incredible young men to dinner, and I couldn’t be more proud of them. Their growth, respect, and determination don’t go unnoticed. It’s bigger than a meal, it’s about showing them they’re seen, valued, and capable of so much more. Teresa Tijerina thank you and the staff at Ike’s the young men loved the food.

We had an amazing time at our Easter Egg Hunt this year! With over 1,000 Easter eggs spread out and a great turnout from the community, it was truly a day to remember.

Moments like this mean everything, being able to pour back into the same community that helped shape me, and now having the opportunity to serve and uplift it in a new way. 💛

Thank you to everyone who came out, supported, and helped make this event so special. This is what it’s all about, connection, growth, and creating positive experiences for our youth and families.

We’re just getting started… more to come! 🙌

Stepping in for another impactful session at JJAEP, right next door to the Juvenile Justice Center. Grateful to continue this journey, as I also hold a contract here and meet with these students weekly.

This work isn’t just about showing up, it’s about building trust, creating safe spaces, and helping young people see beyond their current circumstances. Every session is another opportunity to pour into them, challenge their mindset, and remind them that their story isn’t over.

Consistency matters. Presence matters. Purpose matters.

I am currently seeking speaking engagement opportunities both inside and outside of Lubbock County.

If you are hosting events, workshops, conferences, staff development trainings, team building sessions, youth programs, or community engagements, I would love to connect with you. My work focuses on motivation, mental health awareness, social-emotional development, resilience, and helping individuals and teams build a stronger mindset and stronger outcomes. I bring real-life experience, practical tools, and engaging conversation that connects with diverse audiences.
