Thanksgiving can be one of the hardest days to carry grief. While the world gathers around warm tables and full plates, your heart may be sitting with an empty chair that no one else sees. The weight of missing someone you loved — someone who shaped your life, your memories, your holidays — can feel especially heavy today.

It’s okay if this Thanksgiving doesn’t feel festive. It’s okay if gratitude is hard to reach through the grief. Missing someone you love is a kind of love in itself — a love that didn’t end, a love that doesn’t fade just because they’re gone.
