With St Patrick’s day this week we celebrated what we call Color Week all week. Each day we celebrated a different color, we all dressed in that color, learned about that color, and even ate foods that color. That part was probably the most challenging yet fun part! Here is a breakdown of what we ate this week during our rainbow week!
Red day: spaghetti, kidney beans, and strawberries
orange day: Mac n cheese, diced carrots, oranges
Yellow day: scrambled eggs, buttered toast, bananas, hash browns
Green Day/ st Patrick’s day: green peas,cheese quesadilla with Spinach tortillas, green grapes (also green Jello and a st pattys day cookie!)
Blue & purple day: Blue corn chip nachos, blueberries, blueberry muffin, and a blueberry, pear, and purple carrot purée
What fun is was to try to try some new flavors!
