This January, the Garrison Institute on Aging is launching an exciting new virtual series for rural healthcare providers called Dementia Care ECHO Program.

Dementia Care ECHO Program runs Wednesday, January 28, 2026 - Wednesday, April 8, 2026, and is a 6 session virtual learning series. This program is presented in partnership with the GIA, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center's Office of Rural & Community Health, and the Alzheimer's Association. It will equip clinicians with today's best tools for early detection, diagnosis, care strategies, and communication around Alzheimer's and related dementias (ADRD).

Each session of the series will be formatted as a collaboration between presenters and attendees. The sessions will begin with a didactic presentation by an expert in the field, and will be followed by a collaborative discussion with participants and experts on real world scenarios from their practices. All participants are eligible to receive CMEs and CNEs from TTUHSC for time spent in the program.

Please help us promote the Dementia Care ECHO Program by sharing information with any physicians or nurses you know who work in rural communities across Texas.
