TTUHSC F. Marie Hall Institute For Rural And Community Health In Collaboration With GIA Introduce New Project Echo Team
With the support of two new part-time coordinators, Janie De La Cerda and Erin Baker, the GIA is launching the Dementia Care ECHO Program running January 28 – April 8. This 6‑session virtual learning series is specifically designed for rural primary care teams. Project ECHO Dementia Program is presented in partnership with GIA, TTUHSC’s Office of Rural & Community Health, and the Alzheimer’s Association. It will equip clinicians with today’s best tools for early detection, diagnosis, care strategies, and communication around Alzheimer’s and related dementias (ADRD).
Each session of the series will be formatted as a collaboration between presenters and attendees. They will begin with a didactic presentation, and will be followed by a collaborative discussion with participants and experts on real-world scenarios. All participants are eligible to receive CMEs and CNEs from TTUHSC for time spent in the program. Please help us promote this program by sharing with any physicians or nurses who work in rural communities across Texas.
