As we prepared for the winter storm, we want to take a moment to recognize the incredible teamwork that’s gone into keeping our community safe, prepared, and comfortable.

Over the past week, our staff has worked tirelessly behind the scenes. Kevin and Jessie have done an excellent job ensuring our community is fully prepared and storm-ready. Paula and Ninfa have taken extra precautions to support and protect our care staff. Our amazing culinary team is ready to serve hot, comforting meals so our residents can stay cozy while we hunker down during the storm.

A special thank you to James, Suzanne, and Maurlica for all of the added support, and to Amanda for always keeping our residents happy and engaged. We also appreciate Vanessa and her Helping Hand support throughout our operations.

It truly takes a team, and we are so grateful for each and every one of our dedicated direct care staff — without you, none of this would be possible.

To all of our GSH families, we hope you stay safe and warm over the next several days. 🤍
