We want to reassure parents that we continue to recommend the Hep B birth dose, just as we always have.
There is no new or concerning information prompting this update.
The AAP still recommends the birth dose, and so do we. Consistent, evidence-based care is what we stand for. 💙

Overusing antibiotics can lead to resistance, making infections harder to treat. Bacterial stewardship is key to ensuring these medications remain effective when we truly need them!
