In Loving Memory of
Anetta “Ms. Kay” Young
April 30, 1947 – March 30, 2026
Please join Grayce in celebrating and honoring our beloved Ms. Kay.
Ms. Kay began her journey with Grayce as a volunteer, but it didn’t take long for her to become so much more. She quickly became a daily fixture in our office—working just a few hours each day, yet leaving us with a lifetime of love, laughter, and lessons we will carry forever.
We will dearly miss her signature greeting as she breezed through the door each morning— “Good Morning Everybody!”
No matter the pace or pressure of the day, everything seemed to pause in that moment. Her voice brought a sense of calm and joy, gently reminding us all that it was, indeed, a good morning!
Throughout the day, Ms. Kay stayed busy—dusting, cleaning, answering phones, and most importantly, caring for each of us as a mother would. Whatever was needed, she was there—always willing, always happy to help.
She had a gift for making things beautiful. Ms. Kay was the best flower arranger and bow-tier there ever was. Every holiday, she worked tirelessly to prepare thoughtful treats and gifts for our patients, pouring love into every detail.
And then there were the plants. To say Ms. Kay had a green thumb would be an understatement. We all shared moments with her as we hurried out the door—
“Come here, baby,” she’d say, motioning us over. “I want to show you a new leaf on this plant.” With pure joy, she would point out new growth—a simple but powerful reminder to slow down, to notice, and to appreciate the beauty in life’s smallest moments.
You see, Ms. Kay was quietly in charge of our office, even if we didn’t always realize it. Every single day, she changed someone’s life—through a kind word, a heartfelt conversation, a shared laugh, or simply her calming presence.
Thank you, Ms. Kay, for everything you gave to Grayce. We thought we were helping you, but in truth, you were teaching us all along.
It was an honor to know you, to love you, and to be part of your beautiful life.
You will be deeply missed and forever remembered. ❤️
