The American Pharmacists Association Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP) chapter at the TTUHSC-Jerry H. Hodge School of Pharmacy wrapped up its 10-for-10 Swab Challenge at the Abilene, Amarillo and Dallas campuses. In collaboration with Earl Young's Team, students hosted a drive to grow the national registry of blood stem cell and bone marrow donors. Student pharmacists put in meaningful effort to educate peers, share the mission and help raise awareness for patients waiting on a match.

For 10 years, the Veteran to BSN (VBSN) track of the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing's Accelerated BSN program has allowed students with prior military training to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree in a shorter amount of time! A clinical trial is a type of research study that investigates new drugs, treatment procedures and medical devices before they are approved and made available to patients. Through its School of Medicine Pediatric Cancer Research Center and the UMC TLC2 Foundation Cancer Center, is building on the past of clinical trials to help patients now and in the future.

Beginning in 2008, TTUHSC, through the School of Medicine Pediatric Cancer Research Center in 2025, has conducted multiple phase 1 oncology clinical trials for pediatric and adult cancer patients. These trials will pave new ground for patients now and in the future.
