We were so grateful to be a part of Tim Tebow Foundation’s Night to Shine prom a few weeks ago! The TTRC horses:

✔️Got creative with their PROMposals💐

✔️Dressed to the nines in bow ties, ruffles, and flowers 🎩🎀

✔️Greeted/took photos with all the incredible prom kings and queens of the evening! 👑

Southcrest Baptist Church thank you for allowing us to participate in such a special event❤️

And thank you to TTRC’s wonderful staff, volunteers, and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Health Professions Capstone students (Kate and Natalie) for making all of this come to fruition.

Penelope Update

We have some sad news to share about Penelope and the foal. She was showing signs a couple of weeks ago that’s she was progressing and getting ready to foal. We took her in to get her checked in preparation for foaling.
After examining her, it was found that the foal was not viable. We are of course saddened by this news and hopeful that Penelope will make a full recovery and get back to doing the sessions she enjoys. Throughout this entire process , she’s been eating, drinking, and acting normally. She’s not showing signs of pain or distress, and we pray that continues.
We’d like to thank all of you for your support throughout this time and for your excitement.
We’d also like to thank all the amazing vets, vet techs and staff who have taken such great care of Penelope and provided guidance to us when we found out. We have the best team around us and we are so thankful for each of them ❤️

The Transform Lives initiative of the In Pursuit of Prime campaign brings an inside look into the Tech Therapeutic Riding Center where staff and volunteers have transformed around 5,000 lives since its founding in 1998.

Kelcee Heinrich shares the impactful experiences she has witnessed in her role as lead administrator at TTRC.

Do you have a horse that would be a great fit for TTRC?!! We are currently looking for horses to be leased or donated to TTRC for therapeutic horsemanship, hippotherapy and ground work.

Here are some of the guidelines:
-Geldings or mares only
-Under 15 years old
-No major lameness or unsoundness
-Sound at all 3 gaits
-Can’t be nerved or have navicular
-Must have current negative Coggins
-Must be up to date on all vaccinations
-Must have a great temperament
-Must love people!!

We have limited spots available for therapeutic horsemanship only. This does not include physical therapy, occupational therapy or speech (hippotherapy).

-Must be 4 years old and over
-must complete all rider paperwork
-must have a schedule that fits availability (if your availability doesn’t work with what we have you can be added to the wait list)
-Sessions start soon and will go to the middle of May for Spring 26
