Getting the annual flu vaccine is one of the most important steps our seniors can take to stay healthy this season. The flu shot not only lowers the risk of illness, but also helps prevent severe complications and hospitalizations for adults age 65 and older.

Last week, we were honored to welcome a very special guest for Veterans Day. 🇺🇸

Randy H, RN and former Naval Corpsman, stopped by to visit fellow Veterans and share handwritten poems with anyone who wanted one. His story is truly inspiring — Mr. Hudson first worked in our building back in 1970 as part of a Monterey High School program, an experience that led him to become a nurse.

He went on to serve our country in the U.S. Navy for 5 years, met the love of his life, Donna, and has now dedicated 47 years to nursing. He plans to retire in June 2026.

Thank you, Mr. Hudson, for your service, your compassion, and for coming back home to share your journey with us. You are an inspiration to many. 🇺🇸❤️
