✨ New Year, New Intentions—Not Rushed Change ✨
As a new year begins, many people feel pressure to do something different. But meaningful change doesn’t start with action—it starts with awareness.
Change moves through stages:
• Precontemplation – not ready to change
• Contemplation – thinking about change
• Preparation – making plans
• Action – taking steps
• Maintenance – sustaining the change
Setting a new year intention doesn’t mean jumping to the action stage. Your intention might simply be to notice, to reflect, or to get curious about what you want more (or less) of this year.
Wherever you are in the cycle, it counts. Intentions meet you where you are—not where you think you should be.
💬 What intention feels supportive for you as you enter this year?

✨ A New Year, A Gentle Intention ✨
As we step into a new year, we invite you to pause—not to pressure yourself with resolutions, but to set an intention.
An intention isn’t about perfection or productivity. It’s about choosing how you want to show up for yourself.
Maybe your intention is:
• More compassion
• Clearer boundaries
• Deeper connection
• Rest without guilt
Whatever it is, let it be something that supports your nervous system, not overwhelms it. Growth doesn’t have to be loud to be meaningful.
What intention are you carrying into this year? 💛

🕯 Navigating Grief During the Holidays —
Grief doesn’t only live in our thoughts—it lives in the body.
Today, focus on one small way to care for your nervous system:
• Take a few slow, deep breaths
• Step outside for fresh air
• Drink something warm
• Rest without guilt
Regulating your body can help soften the intensity of grief, even when the pain is still present.
As Christmas approaches, remember: you are allowed to move at your own pace. Grief and gentleness can coexist.
You are not alone. 🤍

🕯 Navigating Grief During the Holidays —
Not everyone needs access to your story.
Prepare a few boundary phrases ahead of time:
• “I’m taking things one day at a time.”
• “I’m not ready to talk about that right now.”
• “Thank you for understanding.”
Boundaries help protect your emotional energy—especially during the holidays.

🕯 Navigating Grief During the Holidays —
Avoiding grief often makes it louder.
Today, consider making intentional space for it.
This could look like:
• Lighting a candle
• Writing a letter
• Sharing a memory
• Holding a quiet moment of reflection
Honoring your grief allows it to be seen, not silenced.

🕯 Navigating Grief During the Holidays —
It’s okay if this year looks different.
Grief changes what we have the capacity for.
You are allowed to:
• Say no to invitations
• Leave early
• Simplify traditions
• Rest instead of “pushing through”
Meeting yourself where you are is not failure—it’s compassion.

As Christmas approaches, many people feel pressure to be joyful—but for those carrying grief, this season can feel especially heavy.
Over the next 5 days, we’ll be sharing practical, gentle ways to navigate grief during the holidays—tools you can actually use when emotions surface, gatherings feel overwhelming, or traditions bring up loss.
If you’re grieving this season, you’re not doing it wrong. You’re human.
And you don’t have to walk through it alone.
Join us this week as we create space for honesty, compassion, and support—one day at a time. 🤍

🕯 Navigating Grief During the Holidays —
Grief can feel heavier when everything is unstructured and overwhelming.
Before gatherings or busy days, create a simple plan:
• Decide how long you’ll stay
• Identify a quiet place to step away
• Choose one safe person you can check in with
Having a plan doesn’t mean you won’t feel grief—it means you’re caring for yourself when it shows up.
