Lisa Carson, owner of Comfort Keepers and leader of the Feed Seniors Now project, along with volunteer Judy Walton, proudly presented Jan D’Orsay and her team at Hospice of the South Plains with a First Place plaque. Hospice of the South Plains donated an incredible 311 pounds of food—helping provide weekend meals for 675 Meals on Wheels recipients. This generous contribution marks the largest donation made by a healthcare company this year!
Together, we’re making a real difference for seniors in our community.

Happy National Volunteer Appreciation Week! We want to thank each of our amazing volunteers who selflessly contribute their time and their heart to make a difference in our patient's lives. Our Spotlight Volunteer is Austin Owens, who has been volunteering with our patients for over 2 years. Austin always becomes an invaluable friend to every patient he visits, and he always takes the time to form a true bond and relationship. He is always positive and friendly and he once said that he is always striving to make his mom proud.

What this means is, the individuals you see pictured are simply the BEST OF THE BEST across ALL areas of care for your family and loved ones as it relates to hospice care. It is truly an honor to serve with this team of dedicated healthcare professionals, that make a difference in each one of our extended family members lives. A ZERO deficiency and ZERO violation state survey is quite rare and a testament to the daily dedication of all of our team members.
