We would like to announce some great news!!! As of Friday, July 31, 2020 we now have two Cold Zones and one Warm Zone. What does that mean, you ask? Well, once Covid made its way into our building we immediately took action, we allocated a step-down unit for all covid positive residents, exposed residents and cleared residents. The Lubbock Health Department told us as of July 29th all our residents that tested positive were now consisted "recovered"! As a precautionary measure, the entire north side of our building was the "Cold Zone" none of these residents tested positive. We wanted to ensure, that after 20 days, all these residents that resided on that side of the building were still negative, therefore we had all of them retested, we received that news last week as well. All of those North Side Residents are negative still, YAY!!! THANK YOU TO OUR AMAZING STAFF FOR BEING DILIGENT WITH THEIR HYGIENE TECHNIQUES AND KEEPING OUR RESIDENTS SAFE!
Last, but certainly not least!!! WE ARE STILL ACCEPTING COVID POSITIVE RESIDENTS! If you know or hear of someone in need of placement for short term rehab, longterm care, or their covid status, please give us the option of evaluating their medical case to see if we can meet the medical needs of the individual!
