My name is Kaito Letkiewicz and I am 23 years old from Plano, TX. I am the clinic manager and marketer at My Urgent Care Clinic in Lubbock.

I really enjoy cooking, going to the gym, any outdoor activity like hiking, surfing, snowboarding, traveling, etc.., and doing pretty much anything with my friends. I’m always looking for something new to try and for an adventure to be had! My favorite quote goes

Dr. Turner is an emergency medicine physician who currently owns and operates several ERs and urgent cares in San Marcos, Boerne and Abilene.

He began his training in Austin with the Family Medicine Residency Program way way back in 2001.

The draw of emergency room medicine, however, caught him in 2006 and he has been a full-time emergency physician ever since.

He absconded with his gorgeous wife from New Mexico in 2009 and since then has added 2 beautiful adopted baby boys over the last several years.

He enjoys spending time flying around Texas in a small single engine airplane. Texas sunsets are his favorite and are best enjoyed on the back patio with his wife and kids. One last thing, Hook Em Horns!

What is swimmers 🏊‍♀️ ear? A painful infection in the outer ear canal caused by water 💧 left in ear 👂🏼 after swimming. This creates a moist environment that fosters bacterial growth.

Symptoms of otitis externa, also called swimmer's ear, are typically mild initially, but can worsen if the infection isn't treated or spreads. Mild symptoms include itching in the ear canal, slight redness in the ear or some drainage of clear fluid with no smell.

We test for and treat UTIs.

UTI SYMPTOMS:
-Frequent urination
-Burning sensation while urinating
-Blood in urine
-Cloudy, discolored, foul-smelling urine
-Lower abdominal pressure or pain

A UTI, urinary tract infection can easily be treated with antibiotics if diagnosed early. An undiagnosed, untreated UTI can lead to issues later.
The main danger associated with untreated UTIs is that the infection may spread from the bladder to one or both kidneys. When bacteria attack the kidneys, they can cause damage that will permanently reduce kidney function. In people who already have kidney problems, this can raise the risk of kidney failure.
If you suspect that you have a UTI, come see us right away!
