As many of you have noticed, Ashlie hasn’t been in her usual spot around the office lately. A few weeks ago, her son Jayce developed a bump on his head along with persistent head and body aches. After several appointments with Jake and Dr. Shanklin, tests, imaging, and ER visits, Jayce was diagnosed with B-cell lymphoma.

Jayce and Ashlie are both staying strong and optimistic as he begins his treatment journey. While you may not see Ashlie’s smiling face in the office right now, she’s still very much a part of our team, just working behind the scenes as she supports her son.

We want to take this opportunity to remind everyone: if you or a loved one are experiencing any unusual or persistent symptoms, please reach out to your healthcare provider and advocate for you and/or your loved ones. Early detection truly can save lives!!
