The Plaza at Lubbock is proud to announce our CNAs Allyson Huddleston and Alyssa Perez were awarded Outstanding Caregiver Awards from Wellpoint Medicaid. These outstanding caregivers were nominated by our residents. One resident stated "Allyson is always going above and beyond. She will even come in on her day off to take the extra time to blow dry, curl, and style my hair, even better than a beautician." One resident stated "Alyssa makes me feel like she cares about me, she makes me feel like we are family. I think of her as a granddaughter." Congratulations Allyson and Alyssa!

Adamarie Crawford celebrated her Quinceanera and instead of asking for gifts for herself, she asked for presents for those less fortunate. The residents at The Plaza at Lubbock wanted an opportunity to give back to the community, to children that may not have otherwise been able to receive presents for Christmas. So together, Adamarie and the residents of The Plaza teamed up to collect gifts for Toys for Tots. We appreciate those of you who donated, the residents were so pleased to give so many toys to the children of Lubbock!
