We are a facility that provides fitness classes specifically designed for senior or just older adults in general. We have a huge variety

Our fitness classes range from low intensity to high intensity. From basic exercise classes to line dance and Tai Chi. Since its inception in April 2001, thousands of individuals have chosen a healthy and active lifestyle by joining the UMC Activities Center. Sponsored by UMC's Seniors are Special Program, this facility is designed for mature adults who desire to increase and maintain their fitness level in a supportive and medically aware environment. UMC Activities Center provides activities and staff to help meet individual needs, regardless of physical ability and medical challenges. The UMC Activities Center serves as a fun and motivating facility to improve your health, and as a way to strengthen old friendships or build new relationships. Conveniently located on the SouthWest corner of 82nd and Slide Road in RockRidge Plaza.

In alignment with Lubbock ISD and to ensure the safety of our members, instructors, and staff, the UMC Activities Center will have a delayed opening on Wednesday, January 28th.
All classes scheduled before 10am will be canceled.

Due to the continued extreme weather conditions in the area and for the safety of our membership and staff, the UMC Activities Center will be CLOSED on TUESDAY, JANUARY 27th.
As a reminder, we follow Lubbock ISD for all inclement weather decisions.
We will continue to monitor conditions regarding the remainder of the week.

For inclement weather, the UMC Activities Center follows Lubbock ISD.

If LISD is closed, we will be closed for the day.
If LISD has a delayed start, we will open at the same delayed time.
If LISD has an early dismissal, we will close at that same time.
