Micromanaging doesn’t usually look like control…
It looks like helping, fixing, or staying one step ahead. But when adults constantly step in, we accidentally send the message:
“You can’t handle this without me.” Check out these age by age examples of ways parents micromanage kids without even realizing it. I won’t tell you to not skip the last slide, because you’re an autonomous reader, but it does summarize what kids need.
