Our Story
On April 6th, 2017, My grand father Thomas Robinson died from cancer. When he passed, I began to think about exactly why all my peers were mysteriously being diagnosed with cancer. Throughout my life I have experienced young and elderly people suffer from this disease but where was it stemming from?
In September 2017, I (Alexa) decided to explore the contents of store bought home, bath and body products. I discovered that many products that are sold in stores that many of us use on a daily basis have harmful chemicals in them that produce health problems such as cancer, various skin problems, male ge***al birth defects, decreased s***m counts and altered pregnancy outcomes.
I then decided the best way to prevent my peers from purchasing these products with harmful chemicals in them was to create a natural alternative. Consequently in September 2017 HomeBody Naturals was born.
Only 24 at the time, I spent all my savings on materials and pure organic ingredients and began creating all natural skin and body loving products! I started with tiny batches and filled bottles and jars by hand. I began selling my handmade products out of my small one bedroom apartment to friends and family.
