You've probably heard the word Reiki. Maybe you've been curious about it, maybe you've experienced it, ormaybe you're not quite sure what to make of it.
Here's the simplest way we know to describe it:
Reiki isn't mystical. It's just the practice of paying attention to your own energy and learning to work with it instead of against it. 🤍
A practitioner channels healing energy to clear the body's energy pathways, reduce stress, relieve pain, and restore balance on a physical, emotional, and energetic level. And you can begin practicing a simple version of it on your own at home:
1. Place your hands over your heart, your belly, or anywhere you're holding tension
2. Breathe slowly and set an intention
3. Stay there for a few minutes and let your energy do the work
Intention and presence are the foundation, and you have more access to your own healing than you might think.
At Anahata, Reiki is woven into our community meditation sessions, available as standalone healing appointments, and blended into massage sessions that work with both the body and the energy field. However you're drawn to experience it, there's a way in.
