Young people stepping up to protect their community. ๐Ÿš—๐ŸŽ„ Great work by the Drug-Free Council of Corrigan-Camden High School on Holiday Sticker Shock.

The Drug-Free Council of Corrigan-Camden High School recently participated in Holiday Project Sticker Shock in Corrigan, TX. This holiday-themed campaign raises awareness about the dangers of drinking and driving during a time when alcohol-related crashes increase. Drug-Free Council members placed warning stickers on alcohol packages at Brookshire Brothers and other local retailers to encourage safe, responsible choices this holiday season.

From left to right: Drug-Free Council Sponsor, Ms. Tammy Farr, Lillian McGinty, and Mareli Felipe.

Thank you to Brookshire Brothers and participating Corrigan retailers for supporting this important effort!

The Drug-Free Council program is funded by a grant from TxDOT to reduce the number of alcohol-related crashes in Texas.

๐ŸŽ„ The Best Gift This Season? Quality Time Together. ๐ŸŽ„

Research shows that families who spend meaningful time together build stronger bonds, and kids with strong family connections are more likely to make healthy choices throughout their lives.

The Alcohol and Drug Awareness Council is proud to support the Festival of Trees at the Museum of East Texas, a place that offers families a beautiful space to connect, talk, and create memories together.

As you walk through 160 glittering trees with your loved ones, look for Leo the Drug-Free Lion. He's there to remind us all that the greatest celebrations are the ones we share: healthy, happy, and fully present. ๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿ’š

โœจ FREE admission means EVERY family can participate

๐ŸŽ„ A special shout out to our Reindeer Run 1K champions, female division winner Raily Cortines and male division winner Santiago Gonzalez.

Seeing young runners give their all, encourage their friends, and cross that finish line is one of our favorite moments of the day.

๐ŸŽ„๐Ÿš— Holiday are for memories, not emergencies.

This holiday season, the Alcohol and Drug Awareness Council is partnering with local restaurants to spread an important message, stay safe on the road.

Look for our campaign on drink coasters and t shirts and remember:
โœ… A sober driver is one that has had nothing to drink, not just the least amount.
โœ… Do not ride with someone who has been drinking.
โœ… Do not text and drive.
โœ… Do not drive distracted.

Letโ€™s make this holiday season safe and memorable for everyone. Have a happy, safe, and drug free day! ๐Ÿš—๐Ÿ’š
