A fun holiday idea turned into a meaningful experience for our residents as we sent and received Christmas cards from across the country. We were thrilled to receive 43 cards from 28 states! While we didn’t quite reach our goal of all 50 states, the excitement and connection it created was truly priceless.
Cards arrived from states near and far, and our residents gathered at lunchtime to open them together, placing hearts on the map to show where each one came from. Most were sent from nursing homes and retirement communities, with a few from rehab centers, hospitals, and thoughtful friends who joined in.
Simple moments like these remind us how far kindness can travel ❤️

🎄 What has Christmas 2025 been like at PineCrest? 🎄
It has been a season filled with meaning, celebration, and gratitude for God’s many blessings.
✨ A beautiful memorial service honoring the cherished friends we lost this year, remembering them with love.�✨ An amazing float in the Lufkin Lighting Parade, proudly featuring our residents and staff�✨ A fun and spunky Pictures with Santa celebration for residents, staff, children, and grandchildren�✨ Traveling near and far to enjoy the wonder of Christmas lights and God’s beautiful creation�✨ Five elegant Christmas dinners shared with residents and their families�✨ The joyful sounds of Christmas carolers and festive music filling our community, lifting hearts in praise
So many beautiful memories made—ones that will last a lifetime.�We are thankful for the joy, fellowship, and love shared this season, and for the reminder of God’s presence among us.�And we must have been very good this year… because Santa visited PineCrest again and again! 🎅🎄

Matt Mosley and his sweet family shared the love of Christ with our PineCrest residents this Christmas. Through their visit and thoughtful gifts, given in loving memory of his mom, Cristal Rhoudes Mosley, they were a true blessing. What a beautiful way to honor her life and legacy.

Charles and Alex had worked hard to adequately save for a comfortable retirement. When it came to their future, they had every box checked: good jobs, mortgage free home, growing 401K, and good health.
That is, until one by one, each item was taken from them by a series of unforeseen events.
