March is Brain Injury Awareness Month, while March 16-22 specifically is Brain Awareness Week. PAM Health’s brain injury rehabilitation program uses the latest techniques and equipment to address the physical, mental, and emotional toll caused by brain injury and maximize recovery so patients can function at the highest levels possible. Our brain injury program focuses on:
• Improving patients’ ability to function at home and in their communities;
• Help patients adapt to the changes caused by brain injury;
• Provide social and emotional support;
• And prevent further medical complications of brain injury to support long-term recovery.

March is Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month.

Multiple Sclerosis, or MS, is a disease where the immune system attacks the brain and spinal cord, disrupting communications between the brain and body. While the cause of MS is not yet known and there is no cure, medication, rehabilitation and other treatment strategies can effectively manage its symptoms so patients can live full lives.

Even during severe weather, our hospital remains open and staffed to ensure patient care continues. Our dedicated teams are prepared and plans are in place.
