I have committed to walking for Colorectal cancer with the American Cancer Society in memory of my dad, Henry Wisrodt.

❤Why this is important to me❤
My dad died from small intestinal cancer. It is one of the most curable cancers, detected from a routine colonoscopy, just like colon cancer. There isn't a lot of cases or awareness for the cancer my dad died from, but colon cancer is similar, detected and treated the same way, so it's a start in raising awareness! His heavenly anniversary is coming up and I felt this is such a perfect way to remember and honor him! ❤

I have been so busy with life, that I have completely neglected this page! And you know what, I'm okay with that. Sometimes you need to work on yourself, first, to be able to help and encourage others!

Hey friends! 👋

So obviously, we have been super inactive on social media this Summer. My goal was to update weekly over the break, but life happens, and I bit off more than I can chew. Which leads to my life lesson here, lol. You can set a goal and do everything in your power to meet it, but sometimes life is crazy, and 💩 happens! The important thing to focus on is not to lose hope or your drive to meet that goal, but to roll with the punches and keep your eye on the prize! We may have not eaten exactly the way we set out to over the Summer with vacations tempting us, but we have remained active! Where the scale hasn't changed, we are more physically fit than we were at the beginning of the Summer and that is something to be proud of!

Find the positive in the little things, and be proud of yourself for what you have achieved this Summer. If you stuck with your diet or health plan, great job! If you didn't, but spend time working on your mental health, or getting quality time with your kids, that's really great too! There's no time limit on reaching a goal, it can be extended. ‼️ Just don't give up! ‼️

We have spent this Sunday teaching our oldest son how to play golf with his new golf clubs, and he is doing great! Hope you are finding time to stay active, and spend SAFE quality time with your loved ones!

Happy Monday 🙃

Hard toss up between enchiladas and pizza for me... or maybe just bread in general! 😅

I just want to take this as a quick opportunity to talk about dieting and our favorite foods. You do not have to give up your favorite foods to be successful in your dieting and weightloss. It is important to learn your body, how it responds to different foods and then eat them in moderation. Find a balance and figure out how to incorporate your treat foods into your diet (without binging), in hopes to having a healthier relationship with food. By giving up your favorite food, your more prone to cravings, being "angry," in a sense, with healthy foods, and, ultimately, backfiring in your diet.

🌟 Customer Spotlight 🌟

Brandon has been on the weightloss program for 4 months. As of yesterday, he has officially lost 40 pounds!!!! This program takes hard work and dedication, but if you are ready, the sky is the limit!

Brandon is the healthiest version of himself right now and is still working hard to hit his goal [and killing it].

So I'm scrolling through posts on FB and Instagram this morning and most pics I am seeing are these beautiful, skinny girls/guys in tiny bathing suits, looking nothing short of amazing. [This is not me shaming them, like, I give you all the props🙌.] But I'm not going to lie, it's real hard not to feel defeated or just give up on all the hard work I've put in to get where I am. It's hard to even want to put on a swimsuit when I know that I have stretch marks, cellulite, tons of extra skin from having babies (or just eating too much Tace Bell😅).

But guess what...

👉Gone are the days of feeling less than.
👉Gone are the days of hiding behind swim suit cover ups or big tshirts.
👉Dad bods are hot!
👉Mom bods are literally everything! (Hello, you gave LIFE!)

Step 1 to being your best self is to LOVE YOURSELF! You are beautiful, and you are worthy! We only get 1 body in this lifetime and it's here to stay, so better get comfy! When you love yourself, you take care of yourself. So ditch the one piece/tshirts, put on the swim suit you love, and get out there! If you are feeling confident, it shows, and you may be inspiring someone to do the same, not even knowing it!

New month, new goals. 👊

Tomorrow, I am going to start the weight loss program for the last 10 pounds I want to shed. Follow me on stories for before pics, meals and snacks I'm eating, weigh ins, exercises, etc!

I'm going to be honest, I am not excited about being in stories and being vulnerable to all of you. This is WAY out of my comfort zone! But I want to show you that anyone can do this and how easy it is! It is so important to have an accountability partner or someone to check in to, otherwise, it's too easy to fall off or quit. YOU ALL will be my accountability! See y'all tomorrow for day 1! 😬

Taco Tuesday is here! 🌮

((Even though we ate this for dinner last night--leftovers for dinner tonight))

If your goal is to lose weight, ditch the tortilla, and dump your taco on top of a bed of lettuce! We are currently >super low carb< in our house, so salad it is! Super easy, super fast, and so yummy!
Ingredients I used below👇

Romaine lettuce
90/10 Ground Beef w/taco seasoning
Corn
Black beans
Tomatoes
Tiny bit of shredded cheese-(Cut this if your currently dairy free!)

Substitute for dressing-
Salsa
Guacamole (we make ours with just a pinch of salt/garlic powder)
Teaspoon of light sour cream-(Cut this if your currently dairy free!)

If your not a beef eater, sub it for grilled chicken!

Love this meal because I can load this on top of chips for my picky kiddos and choose lettuce for the adults! Mama's not making 2 dinners, winning! 👍

The thought of exercising is tough. Just merely thinking about having to take 30 minutes out of your super packed day to get in a quick walk or workout can be exhausting in itself, right? But I promise you it's worth it!

You don't have to run, or jog, just a nice brisk walk will do the trick! Your mood will be better, your thinking will be clearer, and your energy will increase.

If you have any type of step tracker watch, or app on your phone, set a daily goal and go from there. If you don't, get one! There are tons of free apps! This is great for accountability! Start small. Add 1000 steps to what your normally getting, and then increase it every few days!

Right now, my goal is to reach 5000 steps before bed every night. Next week, I'm upping it to 6500!

I'm going to introduce us and tell you how we got here before I share anything else on this account! Buckle up, I'm a talker... this is going to be a long one!

My name is Katie and I am married to my best friend, David! We have 4 pretty cool kids ranging from 23 to 3.

We. Stay. Busy. Y'all.
From school to football to cheer to homework (3 wks til summer, woo!), we are going from morning to night! (However we do go to bed at like 8:30🤣).

Okay, I'll start with me... So I have been the OPPOSITE of what you'd call healthy. Like drive throughs for life 🙌, right? Lol. Just kidding (not really). My husband is the polar opposite. He HATES fast food. He eats healthy. He has struggled with his weight all his life, but overall, he is one of the best healthy eaters I have ever met! So he had this idea, to start our own business for weightloss and promoting a healthy lifestyle. I was like okay, sure. If you know me, I am a born entrepreneur, I have 2 of my own businesses. Hold up though babe... Here's the thing... I am not in shape. I am not healthy. I don't work out. LONG STORY SHORT... something sparked in me and I went from TBell twice a week to enrolling in college for Health Science, and am *almost* a certified personal trainer, exercise therapist, and nutritionist! If I can turn over a new leaf and live healthy (with a little Chick Fil A mixed in there), so can you, and I am here to help you through it!

I can't speak too much for David, but I do know he is so passionate about the things he loves and puts 100% of his heart into what he does. He works his butt off to make sure we want for nothing, and is an amazing dad and husband. He actually came up with the name for our company, True. David went on this program for months before we opened. He wanted to make sure it was achievable and attainable. He has almost reached his goal at being the smallest and healthiest he has ever been in his adult life. He feels like this program has given him a second chance at life. Given him the energy to chase around a wild toddler, and coach our sons football team. This program truely works, and he is a living testimony.

We are SO excited to start this new venture! This has been in the works for a while, but we have officially launched our health and wellness business and are taking appointments!
