Okay… this one-year cake smash might just live rent-free in my mind forever. 🥹

Mom absolutely knew the assignment and read my information on my website. Every little detail was so intentional—soft, simple, and full of texture in the best way. The older sister in her light brown skirt set (texture perfection), the younger in a plain white dress with those gentle details, their sweet boy in a striped top, and mom in that dreamy white blouse with the smallest hint of a pattern.

This is literally what my minimalist-loving heart dreams of. 😍

I often get asked how busy I am or how many sessions I take on. The truth is my heart goes wherever God calls me. Sometimes it’s loving on your babies and sometimes it’s on the other side of the planet. Here is what me and my entire family including my husband’s parents did this summer. Yes, I know.. I’m pretty private with my personal life.. but it’s true that God’s goodness should be spread far and wide and often. Loud and in all languages. By the way.. I’m also full time homeschooling this year.. so I’m only working 1-2 days each week. We have quite the adventure ahead of us I’ve planned with God’s help and I couldn’t be more excited. ❤️❤️

There’s something really special about lifestyle sessions in my home studio. I’ve created this space to feel like a cozy, light-filled home away from home.... where you don’t have to worry about piles of laundry or clearing off the kitchen counter. This sweet family of three recently came by, and watching two brand new parents settle into their rhythm together gave me all the soft, quiet feelings. That first year holds so many emotions: uncertainty, wonder, exhaustion, awe… and I love helping families capture a little bit of it in a way that feels effortless.
