Join us in welcoming Lindsey Prescher, DO, Valley Health’s new Medical Director of Cardiovascular Surgery. Dr. Prescher is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon who specializes in the full spectrum of adult cardiac disease, with particular expertise in complex and minimally invasive heart valve repair and replacement procedures, aortic aneurysm surgical management, and transcatheter therapies (including TAVR, TEER, and TMVR). She also performs arterial conduit coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), anti arrhythmia procedures, and offers care for cardiac tumors and adult congenital heart conditions.

She is a retired Commander in the United States Navy and former Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Dr. Prescher completed her Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship at the Yale University School of Medicine, followed by an additional year of advanced training as a Fellow in Structural Heart Disease at Yale.

Dr. Prescher will help advance Valley Health’s heart surgery program by providing clinical leadership and expertise in the full scope of cardiovascular surgical care for our community.
