Friday, St. James Parish Hospital proudly supported the River Region Chamber Golf Tournament held in Destrehan. It was a beautiful day and a great round of golf for our team, comprised of Wilbur Reynaud, Leslie Loup, Jeremy Martin, and Derin Donaldson. ⛳

Acute Nurse Manager Karley Babin, RN and Clinical Educator Leslie Fisher, RN represented St. James Parish Hospital at the West-Com Nurse Call System Conference in Las Vegas.

Their presentation, From Call Light to Connected Care, showcased how the hospital improved communication, strengthened discharge planning, enhanced patient safety, and expanded family engagement and telehealth through better use of technology and teamwork.

They were honored to share the hospital’s success story with conference attendees, reflecting the collaborative work of a multidisciplinary team led by Nursing, Quality, and IT.
