Deep cleaning! 🧼

If you are familiar with our protocols, you know that our practice, along with Little Corner Academy, maintain a rigorous daily cleaning regimen sanitizing every surface, toy, and manipulative. Lysol and vacuuming are our best friends for prevent the spread of illness, as well as a monthly carpet cleaning using an antibacterial cleaner. We are well-prepared to combat germs! 🦠

Pediatric occupational therapy can make a big difference for children who are picky eaters. Many times, selective eating isn’t just about being “picky”…it can be linked to sensory sensitivities, oral-motor challenges, or anxiety around new textures, smells, and tastes 🍎🥩🐟

Occupational therapists help children explore foods in a safe, playful way, using sensory-based techniques to gradually expand what they tolerate and enjoy. They work on skills like chewing, sitting at the table, and managing the feel of different foods, all while building confidence and reducing mealtime stress for both the child and family. Over time, this approach can turn food from a daily battle into a positive, confidence-building experience 🙌
