The Florida Association of Orthotists and Prosthetists (FAOP) is seeking Lecturers for our 2026 Education Meeting, taking place July 23-25 in Orlando, FL. We invite clinicians, technicians, and industry partners to share their experiences with our audience.
Our goal is to ensure that all educational content clearly supports clinical decision-making and problem-solving, supports patient outcomes, and highlights new technologies and innovations that have made a tangible difference in daily practice.
If you are passionate about truly advancing the O&P profession through honest discussion and practical education, we would love to hear from you. Please feel free to reach out with a brief description of your proposed topic and how it would provide value to attendees.

From the President's Desk...

Dear colleagues and friends:

I have been attending FAOP meetings since 1980. This organization has shown its determination to keep the orthotic and prosthetic professions united throughout the years. The organization is now working with a lobbyist to bring the legislature‘s attention to the fact that the state of Florida has one of the absolute lowest Medicaid fee schedule in the country. As advocates for the disabled, it is FAOP‘s intention to be successful in assisting the disabled in any way possible. Help us stay strong by making a donation by going to www.faop.org and donating whatever you can to help us in our quest to strengthen support for the disabled and their needs in the beautiful state of Florida.
