Veterans Day is an outstanding opportunity to honor those who heed the call to military service. Doing one’s duty does come with sacrifice – time away from family, long and arduous deployments to potentially hostile regions, and more.

There are, however, some very real upsides as well. The friendships made, the personal challenges met, the professional growth are among them. As a serviceman, I was able to witness and enjoy unbounded camaraderie and esprit de corps with fellow sailors. Many of these I still stay in contact with and whom I consider my closest friends.

We recently had the chance to reunite with some of our dearest Navy friends (and spouses) for a long-overdue weekend. I was reminded of how strong the bonds are between us and how proud I am of each veteran I come in contact with – for their sacrifice and for their growth.

PLEASE DONATE TO OUR JULY TOY DRIVE!

We are partnering with Aubriana's Toybox for the month of July to collect toys for local children's hospitals!

Aubriana is an amazing young lady who was diagnosed with with stage IV brain cancer in 2019 and knows first hand how challenging it is to spend long periods of time in the hospital. For the past several years, Aubriana has collected and donated toys to local hospitals, helping kids forget their worries and just be kids.

Let's help Aubriana get hospitals stocked up with toys!

If you'd like to participate, please bring brand new, unwrapped toys to our office between Monday, July 7th and Friday, August 1st. The toys will be delivered to local hospitals the following week.

We have been thrilled to host two toy drives so far to help support Aubriana's amazing mission: filling children's hospital rooms with laughter, comfort, and fun.
