POSITION SUMMARY:

Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: to include breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but the department may identify other responsibilities of the position.



The Dietary Aide/Cook’s responsibilities include the following:

Ensures meals are ready at a specified time.
Follows types and quantities of meats, vegetables and soups prepared by reviewing planned menus.
Ability to follow therapeutic diet menus, recipes and instruct cooks helpers on the same.
Test’s food being cooked to ensure doneness. Adjust heat controls, as necessary. Able to re-calibrate thermometers as needed.
Keeps kitchen and dining room sanitized and clean.
Ensures ingredients are properly stored within the kitchen.
Qualified Dietary Aide/Cook candidates should have the following:

Must have a High School Diploma
Must have at least 1-year experience of doing commercial cooking preferably in a healthcare setting
Able to exhibit professional attitude and conduct with staff, patients, and family members

Summary Objective
This position is responsible for the direct and indirect care of pain management patients on a day to day basis, including hands-on patient care in both clinic and procedures. The clinic manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the specialty staff under their charge, as well as developing and monitoring quality improvement issues and assuring competent staff members can meet patient needs.
This position will require you to leverage excellent communication skills to build credibility, develop relationships, and navigate team leadership to deliver strong operational performance and provide high­ quality clinical care.

Essential Functions

• Manage pain management center daily operations and communicate effectively with the PMG Regional Director of Operations per company and hospital client standards and as needed to ensure expectations are met and exceeded.
• Effectively manage pain clinic staff and providers to follow the performance expectations for reaching the key performance indicators (KPls) for a sustainable program: market capture goals, seeing four patients per hour, reaching 30% procedure ratio, and completing time out and chart audits to monitor quality of care.
• Review clinic performance and employee performance in conjunction with hospital and PMG evaluation processes.
• Deliver strong operational performance by ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations related to healthcare operations and labor regulations.
• Prepare and maintain policies and paperwork for the pain management center.
• Manage and direct clinical staff to continuously monitor and maximize daily schedules to ensure full schedule utilization to reach the KPI goal of seeing 4 patients per hour and new patients per day goal.
• Collect and manage all data required by contractual agreements to include input of Quality,
Exception and Compliance Metrics, and complete the entry of daily statistics in a timely manner as directed by the Regional Director of Operations.
• Establish and maintain effective and open communication and relationships with Patients, Clinic Staff, Hospital Leadership and PMG Regional Director of Operations and Providers.
• Support organizational strategic initiatives and goals while driving to achieve desired departmental results.
• Escalate clinic issues, concerns, and problems in a proactive and timely manner to Hospital Leadership and PMG Regional Director of Operations
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of meaningful financial and operational metrics driving clinic performance.
• Display commitment to ongoing training and professional growth, and attend required educational programs.
• Develop clinic forecasts and communicate deviations to Hospital Leadership and PMG Regional Director of Operations. Use resources judiciously.
• Work with PMG Regional Director of Operations to lead recruitment and development of competent, qualified staff commensurate with defined job responsibilities; ensure high performance and employee engagement.
• Work with PMG Regional Director of Operations to ensure that staff is oriented, trained and the competence of staff is assessed, maintained, demonstrated, and improved continually.
• Participate in and lead marketing efforts through hospital and PMG marketing resources to reach KPI market capture goals.
• Support PMG with research, development, and introductions to new client opportunities within targeted regional market.
• Responsible for other activities as deemed necessary by Hospital and PMG administration.
• Prioritize a wide variety of tasks, make decisions, meet tight timeframes, adjust to unexpected or unscheduled demands, and revise work accordingly.
• Adheres to attendance policy, and documents absences, occurrences, and tardiness for staff members.
• Assist with all Clinic & OR duties as needed

Experience and Requirements
Licensure/Certification/Registration (Required}
• Current State license as a Registered Nurse
• BLS & ACLS certification Education
• Graduation from an accredited school or college of nursing (required)
• BSN preferred Experience & Qualifications (required}
• Two years' experience as a clinical nurse and in office management in a hospital environment - preferred experience in surgery, pre-op, PACU, ER, cardiac care, or critical care
• Computer proficiency and technical aptitude to utilize programs such as Microsoft Office and Excel
• Excellent organizational skills

Oversee the registration department for accuracy of patient information, insurance requirements, upfront collections, and confidentiality. Interview, hire and schedule staff to include time management to maintain daily productivity standards. Provide staff education and training to reflect all insurance requirements and customer service etiquette as well as Evident/CPSI software improvements. Run daily reports and monthly reports to meet quality standards. Maintain billing edits with RCM software daily. Maintain policy and procedures for the department as well as confirm all state requirements achieved to include patient’s rights, etc. Disciplinary action of staff when required. Demonstrate teamwork and communication skills with clinical and nonclinical departments within the hospital.



Full time salary position. Business Administration degree preferred.
