What's happening at

Cairn Hands

Hello everyone,

It is that time of the year where I have to do some in house paperwork. So, I will be sending out an email to have you fill out a new intake form. This ensures that your profile is up to date with current medications and health history so that you can recieve the best care possible. If you do not recieve an email, that means I already have your current intake form on file. There is no deadline but it would greatly help on my end. Thank you!

Happy New Years

I am so happy to make it to another year with you all to help this business grow and thrive. Without you there is no Cairn Hands.

With this business growing prices will be raising after the 1st of the year by $10. As per usual if you have already scheduled an appointment the old price will still be available. The new price will be reflected when you schedule your next appointment.

Another big change that is starting after the 1st of the year, I will be working 5 days a week.

Winter Policy
This is a reminder with the weather being miserble, that saftey is top priority. Rule of thumb: If Lyme school is closed, so am I. The DOT is in charge of canceling school so I will be checking with them if the roads are safe. Otherwise, I will make a judgement call if the local weather is safe enough to drive in.

Sickness and Autumn

Tis the season to get together in a nice and cozy home, drink apple cider and spend time with family and friends. With added contact to more people, sicknes spreads quickly.

I will be wearing a mask for awhile while this cold and flu season is around. If you wish to wear one you can too.

As a reminder, if you are sick (even if it is a sniffle) please reschedule. Not only will you be exposing myself and my other clients; you will feel like a bus hit you if you get the massage. This is due to your immune system trying to contain the sickness to one part of the body. If you get a massage your entire body's immune system will be on full alert and it will make you feel worse.

There will be no repercussions if you cancel because of sickness.

School has started here in Lyme and the seasons are starting to change. There are some new changes for Cairn Hands as well.

Starting September 22nd price will be raised by $10

If you start booking after the 22nd it will be the new price. Current pricing will be applied to appointments that have been booked before the 22nd.

Now is the time to schedule your next Appointment

Welcome Back!

It has been an adventure these past 2 months but I am glad to announce that I will be back to work on July 7th! I already have people signed up that week so if you need an appointment, now would be a good time to get your calendar out and book as soon as you can. At the bottom of this email there is a "book now" button that will take you to the booking site.

NEW SERVICES AVAILABLE NOW

Powder Massage: this massage is great for those who either prefer to have a lighter touch or need more lymphatic work. This massage uses corn starch instead of oil or lotion which is fantastic at gently exfoliating the skin making it super soft without the feeling of being greasy after a massage. It also allows the therapist to SEE the vibrational shifts inside your body.

Contrast Therapy: This massage is very similar to a hot stone with the added benefit of Cold Stones. The hot and cold stones are lubricated with oil and glided over your skin and muscles. This is wonderful for those who have chronic pain, swelling, athletic injuries, or other aches and pains. The heat brings the blood, oxygen and other nutrients to heal and relax and the cold helps reduce swelling and pain. Not reccomended for those who have kidney, circulatory, heart issues or are pregnant.

Aromatherapy: This is an add on to any massage. You will have the essential oil of your choice (Eucalyptus, Lavender, Peppermint and Tea Tree) in the room to breathe in and massged into you skin around your chest and neck so you can have the fragrance with you for the rest of the day.

Heather's Reccomendations:

Lavender: Relaxation and calmness
Peppermint: rejuvination and excellent for headaches and sinus pressure
Eucalyptus: sinus pressure, seasonsal allergies and open air passageways
Tea Tree: Another option for sinuses and invigoration
