Ending 2025 with the sweetest and most intimate elopement was the best way to wrap up the most incredible wedding year for me. Congratulations to Wendy and Frankie! This sweet couple called me early this afternoon asking if I happened to be available to officiate today and you know I absolutely love a good spur of the moment elopement. Of course it was a big YES 👏🏽 It was simple, heartfelt, and full of love. The perfect reminder that sometimes the best moments are the ones you do not overthink. 🤍

✨Rojas Wedding Vendor Appreciation Post #24: Wedding Day ✨

We could not have chosen a better coffee option for RJ and Sylvia’s post wedding bagel breakfast than Joe Bean's Express Espresso. We ordered three boxes of Joe that came with everything we needed including cups, milk, sugar, stirrers and napkins. We had two regular and one specialty flavor, and when I tell you those boxes were completely empty by the end of breakfast, I mean bone dry. Our guests absolutely loved having delicious local coffee, and I even pointed a few of them to the nearest Joe Beans so they could grab another cup for the road.

Linda, the owner, and the entire Joe Beans team are always friendly, professional, and such a joy to work with. Linda goes above and beyond to support small and local businesses and is so well loved in our community for how involved she is. We are so thankful to Joe Beans for adding the perfect warm touch to our farewell breakfast. ☕️

I had such a great time tonight at the LYH Women in Business Black and White Soirée at City View Venues. 🖤🤍 It was so nice to spend the evening with beautiful and successful ladies and sit with my favorite wedding vendors, who I’m also lucky to call friends. Feeling grateful for this community. 🥂

Every love story has its plot twists. This sweet couple reached out after realizing their August wedding wasn’t technically legal. Their officiant wasn’t authorized to perform marriage ceremonies in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

No panic, no stress. They simply applied for a new marriage license and we met up so I could ask the Declaration of Intent and properly sign their license. They were incredibly laid back about it and laughed as they added this chapter to their story. 🤍

A gentle reminder for all couples: always make sure your officiant has that official “Authorization to Celebrate the Rites of Marriage” issued by a Virginia Clerk’s Office.

✨Rojas Wedding Vendor Appreciation Post #23: Wedding Day ✨

The Raven Lounge in Downtown Lynchburg was the perfect place to wrap up Sylvia and RJ’s wedding weekend. Jenee was so generous and kind to open the lounge hours before their normal Sunday opening so our out of town guests could gather for a farewell bagel breakfast. It meant so much to have a comfortable and welcoming space for everyone to spend that last bit of time together.

We had access to the full bar and ordered a variety of charcuterie boards to share with family and friends. The lounge itself is absolutely gorgeous and so unique, with plenty of seating for everyone and even a photobooth in the back that everyone had a blast using.

The food and drinks were delicious, and the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. We are so grateful to Jenee and the Raven Lounge team for being such a special part of this wedding weekend. 🐦‍⬛ 🍷
