✨Rojas Wedding Vendor Appreciation Post #12: Wedding Day ✨

So grateful for my dear friend Spreads by Shonda for creating the most beautiful and delicious grazing table for RJ and Sylvia’s cocktail hour. When I peeked at the table toward the end of cocktail hour there was barely anything left, which made my heart happy because it showed just how much our guests enjoyed it. 😋

Shonda is insanely talented and professional, always putting so much love into what she does. She is known for offering incredible deals, and we had taken advantage of her Black Friday sale last year. You would never know we saved that much because the spread was absolutely top tier and lacking nothing.

I cannot recommend Shonda enough. She is a true artist in her craft and such a gift to work with. 🫶🏼

✨Rojas Wedding Vendor Appreciation Post #11: Wedding Day ✨

Grateful to A&J Event Coordination for stepping in to provide childcare at RJ and Sylvia’s wedding. They cared for the few children who attended, including three members of the wedding party, one of them being my sweet grandson, as well as two kiddos from our guest list. We wanted to make sure guests could fully enjoy the celebration, especially since the reception was child free, and offering childcare made that possible.

Knowing that my good friends from A&J were the ones providing this service meant the world to us. Our childcare attendants, Eby and Grace, are special education teachers and truly the absolute sweetest. I am so grateful for their help on such an important day. 🧸

✨Rojas Wedding Vendor Appreciation Post #10: Wedding Day ✨

A big thank you to Mission Bbq Roanoke, Va for catering RJ and Sylvia’s wedding reception. We have always loved that they are strong supporters of the military and first responders and their food is consistently delicious. So many of their guests told us how much they enjoyed dinner and how good everything tasted.

The staff was incredible and very helpful throughout the evening. They even kept the drink dispensers we brought with us filled without us having to ask. I had worked with two of the staff members at previous weddings and it meant so much to me that they personally requested to work my kids’ wedding. Seeing them there made the day even more special.

Our menu included brisket, pulled chicken, pulled pork, cheesy potatoes, mac and cheese, green beans, cornbread, and rolls. We had plenty of leftovers that we were able to take home and freeze and everything reheated perfectly.

I would recommend Mission BBQ to anyone considering barbecue for their wedding. The food was amazing and the service was excellent from start to finish. 😋 🍽️

Just received the final edits for Kayleigh and Adam’s breathtaking elopement at Ravens Roost Overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway, and I’m still in awe. The views, the love, the emotion, every moment was pure magic.

✨Rojas Wedding Vendor Appreciation Post #9: Wedding Day ✨

This one is extra special to me. Tabby, the owner of Tabby Bennett, Wedding and Event Bartender, is not just an incredible vendor but a wonderful friend. She graciously donated her company’s services for RJ and Sylvia’s wedding, and I can’t put into words how much that meant to me and my family. Her generosity and heart are unmatched.

I absolutely adore Tabby and love every chance I get to work alongside her and her team at weddings. They always bring such good energy, professionalism, and care to every event.

Meagan, who bartended on wedding day, was phenomenal. She’s the absolute sweetest, so quick, professional, and genuinely kind to every guest. The bar service ran perfectly all night, and everyone loved her.

Tabby, thank you again for being part of this milestone for our family and for always showing up with such love and support. You’re one of the best. 🫶🏼🤍

✨Rojas Wedding Vendor Appreciation Post #8: Wedding Day ✨

I am so happy RJ and Sylvia decided to book my friend Roy from RSP Entertainment and go with his premium package because it was worth every penny. Roy accommodated every request for music selection and helped guide the flow of both the ceremony and the reception with ease.

He kept the dance floor packed all night long with absolute bangers. The only time it cleared was when everyone needed a breather and a slice of pizza from the late night food truck outside. They didn’t stay away long before heading right back to dance again. 🙌🏽

The fog for their first dance created an ethereal, romantic atmosphere, and the illuminated monogram on the wall was stunning, perfectly complementing the venue’s aesthetic. The uplighting throughout the reception space completely transformed the room and set the tone for an unforgettable celebration.

I cannot recommend Roy enough, both as a vendor I have had the pleasure of working alongside many times and as the mother of the groom who planned much of this wedding. He is a true professional, a master of his craft, and an incredible MC who keeps guests engaged, excited, and informed every step of the way.

Congratulations to Marie and David on becoming husband and wife! 🤍 Their intimate and heartfelt ceremony at the beautiful Indigo House was filled with so much love and joy. These two radiated pure happiness and you could truly see the love pouring out of them toward one another. 🥹

It was such a pleasure being part of their journey and working alongside the amazing A&J Event Coordination team to bring it all together so beautifully.
