Mind Body Studio In 2002 Mike Cundiff opened Mind Body Studio. There is ample street parking in our large parking lot behind the building.

Located in the heart of Lynchburg's historic district, we are located at 311 Rivermont Avenue, in the Piedmont Building: one block from the Ellington, on the right hand side of Rivermont as you are driving toward downtown Lynchburg from Boonsboro. The studio is on the top floor, with wide wood floors and large windows. For yoga, we have mats, blankets, blocks, straps, and eyebags available for your use. We also have a small selection of supplies for purchase. Our yoga classes are based on the Ashtanga style of hatha yoga, sometimes called Vinyasa Flow or Power Yoga . Vinyasa features steady, flowing movement from one pose to another. It is appropriate for all students with or without yoga experience. All hatha yoga emphasizes the importance of moving with the breath. For all classes, wear comfortable clothing, don't eat too much just prior, and, in consideration of others: clean bodies, clean feet, and no perfumes please!
