Take My Hand At-Home Care

Take My Hand At-Home Care Our caregivers provide a safety net for family members who are concerned about the health and well-being of a senior living alone.

We are in the home preparing nutritious meals, monitoring medications or simply being companions to combat elder loneliness. Take My Hand At-Home Care began in January 2012 and has been busy providing care and support to local seniors and their loved ones ever since. Studies have shown that 90 percent of seniors would choose to live in their own home instead of moving to a nursing home or assisted living facility. Our screened and certified caregivers are here as a resource for Lynden seniors who want to age in place. Take My Hand At-Home Care is fully licensed, bonded and insured. Our professional caregivers have been trained and certified to provide compassionate care to elders in Washington State. It’s our job to make life easier for you! We manage all human resources activities including staffing, scheduling, payroll and taxes. Our team also helps identify possible funding sources for at-home care and assists with insurance billing. TMH’s caregivers provide a safety net for family members who are concerned about the health and well-being of a senior living alone at home. Loved ones find comfort in knowing our caregivers are in the home preparing nutritious meals, monitoring medications or simply being companions to combat elder loneliness. Contact us today to learn about affordable eldercare services that help parents and grandparents age-in-place in Lynden, Bellingham and throughout Whatcom County.

Sweet words from one of our lovely families: “We so appreciate your devotion and attention to detail, even when expectations were more than challenging. Honestly, we never could have had her home for so long without your cheerful support.” ❤❤

It's special to receive thank you notes from families expressing what our caregiving services have meant to them. We were incredibly touched recently to receive this letter:

What’s on your Whatcom County autumn bucket list? The Whatcom Museum, maybe, or a classic car show? Making ornaments at home? Check a few off with the help of a caregiver this fall. 🗑📋✔

In addition to personal care services, at-home caregivers can also help in some pretty fun ways. With the holidays coming up, caregivers can be like Santa's elves in Whatcom County.

PeaceHealth has closed its inpatient facility. Did you know that you can use at-home caregivers to help you recover from surgery?

After surgery or a hospital stay, who will help with recovery at home? There are many important things to consider, such as making sure the kitchen will be stocked with healthy food.

You can’t always be there, but you can always show a loved one that you care.

When a loved one in another state is ill, virtually attending appointments is only part of the solution.
