Santa and Mrs. Claus stopped by CHCC to spread some holiday cheer. After visiting with our residents, they confirmed what we already knew — everyone here has been very good this year. 🎅🏼🤶🏻

Smiles, laughter and a few sweet moments made this visit one to remember. Thank you to Santa and Mrs. Claus for helping make the season extra special for our residents and staff. 🥰

🚨 Lost therapy cat – please help 🚨

This is Bean, an Animals as Natural Therapy cat who visits our residents on occasion. While the ANT team was loading their van Dec. 15, Bean was startled and ran into the CHCC parking lot.

Please be on the lookout for him. Bean was wearing a blue harness with a tag that says, “Hello, my name is Bean.” He is very friendly. If you’re able to gently coax him and bring him safely inside, everyone would be so grateful. If you find or spot bean, contact ANT at 360-671-3509.

Everyone has unique experiences in life. Each person has a story to tell and words of wisdom that can be shared with others. With that in mind, we’d like to introduce you to some of the wonderful people who live here at CHCC. Here is a recent resident spotlight Q&A session we did with Vernon S. ✝️

Q: What was your first job?

A: My first job was when I was 12. I picked seed corn off dried corn stalks in the fields and filled gunnysacks with the ears of dried corn. I earned 12 cents per sack.

Q: What is one thing that you like about living at CHCC?

A: I like it here at CHCC. The food is good, and there is a great deal of variety. The medical help is also very skilled.
