Interested in emergency preparedness or earning your ham radio license?

A FREE five-week amateur (ham) radio course begins April 10 at Christian Health Care Center in Lynden. Classes are held Fridays from 9 a.m. to noon, with the licensing exam scheduled for May 9.

There is no cost to attend (participants cover licensing and exam fees), but registration is required.

Last month, around Valentine’s Day, we celebrated King and Queen's Day at CHCC with a fun and festive royal theme! 👑

In honor of Queen Elizabeth II—born in April 1926, making this year the 100th anniversary of her birth—we held a special celebration fit for royalty. One of the highlights of the day was our royal photo shoot! Residents had an absolute blast dressing up as kings and queens, complete with crowns, costumes and plenty of smiles.

Transport residents to and from meals and activities, restock supplies, help answer call lights, distribute snacks and beverages ...
