I’m emotionally overwhelmed and so proud of myself for completing my Sanctuary! I no doubt bit off WAY more than I could chew, but the self-accomplishment made it all worthwhile! I can sincerely say I built this in its entirety of my own skinned knuckles, bruised knees and sweat on my brow. I think I felt I needed to do this myself, since it’s going to be such a sacred space. I needed to feel that those who enter these four walls do so knowing the love that went into building it. I lost count how many loads of lumber from Home Depot on the weekends I hauled in the back of my poor Honda Pilot! How much hardware, tools and equipment I had to buy because all I started with was a Dewalt cordless drill!
Ther were countless hours (over 1,000 I do know for sure) spent sawing away, hammering and screwing boards together. The funny thing is the hours spent down there through the long cold winter seemed to make the months fly by! It actually was very meditative to watch the Sanctuary slowly rise from the concrete floor.
I couldn’t be happier to share this with you all, in hopes you’ll come by one day and share a meditation session with us!
Weekly Sunday mornings at 10am we will ground ourselves and bathe in a 45-60 min session.

I wanted to give everyone an update. We’re at a big milestone with the Sanctuary space. The ceiling is insulated & bead board ceiling whitewashed. Electrical is roughed in and all the beams & columns are built, sanded & stained. I’d say we’re 70% done! Yay!! I’m planning our first meditation to be for first weekend in June!!

It has been a whirlwind of a year and I'm happy to say we have landed and grounded in Lyndhurst, OH, a small suburb in the Cleveland Metro area.
I have not made any posts just because I wanted to see that the Sanctuary was well under way! I'm excited to say that Construction is well under way and we are looking to hold our first Meditation Circle by April to May 1, 2025 at the latest!

I am incredibly excited to get this very personal project off the ground, or should I say "on the floor" ? hehehe. Look for updates in the coming weeks as we get funding secured for our space. With lots of luck, the energy of the Universe prevailing, we will see our space come to fruition. The Universe knows, we BADLY need this back in our community! Love and gratitude... Mishka
