Lyndhurst Police Emergency Squad Volunteers Since 1942 we provide Ambulance and Rescue Services to the Residents of the Township of Lyndhurst as well as the surrounding areas.

Serving the community since 1942, the Lyndhurst Volunteer Emergency Squad is a nonprofit ambulance and rescue service Lyndhurst prides itself on having committed and loyal volunteers who respond to more than 1900 emergency calls a year. Funded by community donations and organized by volunteers, LPES is always looking for volunteers and contributors. We are a Registered 501(c)(3) tax exempt, nonprofit organization All Donations are Tax Deductible.

On March 29, 2026 at 297 Delafield Ave, Lyndhurst NJ from 12pm to 4 pm we will be hosting a food drive. We are looking for non-perishable food and Easter candies. We want bring the joy of having an Easter basket filled with Easter Candies for families in need. All donations will be going to our local food banks of Lyndhurst, NJ.

A Code Blue Alert is in effect for Bergen County beginning at 8pm tonight through Tuesday 12/9/25 at 12 noon.

According to the National Weather Service (1) the temperature will reach 32 degrees Fahrenheit or lower; or (2) a windfall temperature of zero degrees Fahrenheit or less for a period of two (2) hours or more.

If you are aware of any unsheltered homeless individuals or find yourself homeless in need of a warming center, please call the Bergen County Public Safety Operations Center at 201-753-7762 for assistance or call 2-1-1 to access a shelter.

Thank you so much for the food donations. Our donations today will be going to our local Lyndhurst food pantries. Those pantries are at sacred Heart Church, Saint Michael’s church, and the Lyndhurst food pantry. Hope the food finds the families in need! And that everyone enjoys Thanksgiving giving.

On Sunday November 23 from 12 pm to 4 pm the Lyndhurst Police Emergency Squad will be collecting non-perishable food donations. Drop will be 297 Delafield ave, Lyndhurst. And bonus if you bring 2 non perishable food items you can join us for Zumba class at 2 pm! All donations will shared with the local food pantries of Lyndhurst.
