Thanks to you ALL!
I want to thank every local LMT for being vocal about this new ordinance.
I have not made a meeting because of work BUT I am behind the scenes praying for the proper outcomes.
I want the World to recognize us as one of the top leading providers of pain and stress relief ever to work in a public setting.
In August I reopened my LLC After taking a business break for three years.
I have a 10 year steady client base that has followed me all over the city when ℹ professionally and personally changed directions.
I continues to educate myself spending thousands of dollars in national certifications and have been a reiki master teacher for close to a decade.
I have worked with wellness centers and although love partnership I also have to be true to myself when contracts expire. (Or sadly were never written).
I have spent hundreds of man hours promoting other small business.
I have been a long term BNI member (growing too fast) a member of Jtown Chamber and also I am a current wellness business at LIBA.

I have built women’s circles and publicly acknowledged our healing community as such.
Our work is unique to each person and the level of licenses massage therapist we have in Louisville is exceptional.
I get 2-3 massages a month and have been in spiritual wellness training for years.
I am a certified 200 hour yoga teacher and a certified Bible coach.
I teach WICCA, Tarot, Mythology and Astrology and pay my corporate taxes in this business model.
I also have a family and a body as a human.
I teach my clients self care in thousands of ways.
I am a certifed holistic fitness coach and a holistic health coach.
I am also a certifed Aromatherapist.
Essential Oil is medically used and we MUST know what these plant extractions do for a body.
I am not a joke nor do I have ANY s*x trafficking settings. Ever!
I have had one male person try me (who ironically was in my business networking space) and i immediately flipped in the light, told him this session was over and we would talk when he got dressed). Lots to the story and I won’t name names but I assure you he NEVER booked with me again.
Your local businesses are important and I am praying on where I step in and “fight” a system that clearly does not understand what we are. Or who we are.
I am allowing my anger of government overreach to be healed starting now. I did not obtain this license YET because I am only had about 12 people a month at my LLC office off of Goldsmith Lane. I was losing money as a re-Start up business and I had just dropped $4000 in education for my last 4 Certification. (I am a student at Trinity School of Natural Health). I do not agree with how this ordinance came about nor was written without professional input. That is a fact.
I say all this because many of you are my massage peers and have been a provider for me!!!
I am pursuing a career of total wellness as a business but I am also very protective of our massage craft.
I see all of you and I am stepping in on my own terms as a local business women to hold city offices accountable.
It’s a scary place to be as a massage therapist because you are not trying to p**s anyone off.
We are trying to help people heal.
