Intentional, strategic engament and stretching of the right muscles can pull the body back to alignment.
I try to educate my clients about the muscular patterns affecting posture & causing pain.
Work, play, and just living life can create imbalances that worsen over time.
If you are getting a hump on your back,
If you feel like you are stepping hard on one foot
If you are unable to turn your head easily to look over your shoulder
If you are giving up activities you enjoy

These are just a few of the issues addressed in
"Body Space" my new Orthopedic Fitness approach.
We will also learn how to affectively use a foam roller and other self massage tools to free the hips, shoulders & neck.
Learn (muscle energy techniques) METs or ART (active resisted techniques) that will turn on, and turn off muscles to wake up and facilitate stretching.
Classes will start Sunday November 6th at 10:00 a.m. & 12:00 at the Brick Diamond Building, 61 Depot Street, Lyndonville.
Doing the same exercises on both sides of your body will maintain, (not change) imbalances. One size fitness doesn't fit!
Learn basic principles about the body that you'll wonder why nobody ever told you. Like:
Muscles can be tight because they are over stretched...or because they are short/ contracted. In the 1st case, you strengthen, in the 2nd you stretch.
That brings balance.
