The Country Breeze Counseling Center provides quality counseling for individuals, couples, families, There are no income or residency restrictions.

Clients of the Country Breeze Counseling Center receive individual therapy, couple therapy, family therapy, play therapy, sand tray therapy, and EMDR. Major health insurances accepted. By appointment only; no walk-ins please. Clinicians are licensed professionals or advanced graduate students in Marriage and Family Therapy or Counseling programs at accredited universities. Intern clinicians are supervised. Country Breeze Counseling Center encourages participation and interaction. The profile serves as a forum for discussions about community-related topics and interactions among people with an interest in our services. We hope to provide a forum for dialogue among the many diverse voices of our community, and we encourage comments about the content you find here. However, Country Breeze Counseling Center reserves the right, to remove posts containing personal attacks, profanity, nudity, hate speech or illegal material, advertisement unrelated to the center’s activities, conflict with the mission of Country Breeze Counseling Center, political campaign activities, lobbying activities, or any post at our discretion. Sometimes life is hard and no matter how much we try to put a positive spin on it, the truth is we just hurt.

This is when wisdom invites us to flock with those who accept us as we are, tears and all, the kind souls with whom we can share our story and who know intuitively how to soothe and settle our ruffled feathers.

Bless our friends who sit with us in quiet understanding and remind us when we forget that we all share more than a sun and a moon in this world. We are one and this is love. ~Jody Doty

And cried when I’m sad
I’ve smiled through the good times
And smiled through the bad

I’ve screamed in excitement
I’ve screamed out in pain
I’ve gasped at the sunshine
And gasped at the rain

I’ve laughed when I’m nervous
And when I’m elated
I’ve sighed with contentment
And when I’m deflated

I’ve sung when I’m lonely
And sung in a crowd
I’ve shouted when angry
And when I’ve been proud

‘Cause whether we’re up
Or we’re riding a low
Our feelings are desperate
For somewhere to go

We can’t keep them trapped
And locked up in a cage -
They force their way out
‘Cause they need to escape

And sometimes we’re told
That emotions are weakness
That feeling is flawed
If we let it defeat us

But how can this be?
Surely this must be wrong
For what could be weak
About something so strong

That it cannot be silenced
Cannot be tamed
Can’t be kept down
And cannot be contained

So when you next shout
Or you laugh or you cry
You scream or you smile
Or let out a sigh

Whatever the reason
Just let yourself feel
We’re not here to be quiet -
We’re here to be real
