On todays episode of - ”What did Mackie remove from the skin today” 🤩

I always get comments like “Ew that’s so gross” but when I tell y’all this is seriously my favorite part of doing facials, I mean it! I love all the “gross” all the “nasty”
I love it, I love it, I LOVE IT!! 🤪

This just goes to show we have build up of dead skin or blackheads & whiteheads that will continue to become worse over time if you’re not getting regular facials or using a good skin care regimen at home!

In the first photo I did a Microdermabrasion Facial & hand add on.
This client was very dry and dehydrated
All of the “white powder” is quite literally dead skin that I was able to buff off.

In the second photo I did a Emerald facial & these are blackheads from the nose & chin area.
This client had texture and congestion that needed to be removed.

🌞 Did you know that the Sun’s rays are responsible for about 80-90 percent of the features we associate with aging 🌞

This includes -

Fine lines
Wrinkles
Loss of skin elasticity
& Pigmentations on the skin

UVA rays are consistently penetrating our skin. UVA rays are able to pe*****te deeper than UVB rays. It’s not uncommon that pigmentations seen on the surface of the skin can be from years ago!

UVB rays damage the outer layers of the skin, contributing to sunburns.

The best way to remember these are

UVA- AGING 👵🏼
UVB- BURNING 🔥

Protecting your skin from UV rays is essential for healthy skin and preventing premature aging.

It’s more cost friendly to take preventative action than it is to do treatments trying to reverse the damage done 👀
