Happy Memorable Moment Monday!

Congratulations to our November employee of the month, Maxine Duncombe. Maxine is our weekend wound care nurse and does an incredible job treating our resident's wounds. Our residents and family members really appreciate the nursing care that Maxine provides. In addition to doing an amazing job taking care of our resident's wound care, she is also more than willing to jump in and help out on a medication cart when needed. Maxine has also been a huge help during the week by picking up shifts to help with staffing needs. We appreciate Maxine and all she does for our residents and the facility. Congratulations Maxine!

We are proud to highlight Miranda Taylor, a nurse whose heart for others shines just as brightly as her clinical skills. Miranda recently showed an extraordinary level of compassion when she came in on her day off to celebrate a resident’s birthday. Moments like this show exactly who Miranda is. She treats our residents not as tasks to complete, but as people she genuinely cares for, people whose milestones matter, whose happiness matters. Shree Williams is one of those rare team members whose presence makes the entire center feel more welcoming. As part of our Environmental Services team, she’s known for keeping our building clean and comfortable, but it’s the way she cares for our residents that truly sets her apart. She pays attention to the people around her: what they enjoy, what they shy away from, what brightens their day. Those insights allow her to become an essential part of the care experience, even beyond her role.

Happy Thoughtful Thursday!

Macclenny Nursing and Rehab recently celebrated Thanksgiving with our wonderful employees! The Potluck celebration included Turkey, Ham, Brisket, many fantastic sides and amazing homemade desserts. Everything was delicious and everyone gained a few pounds!! Thank you to everyone who prepared something and to all of our employees for taking great care of our residents.
