On 9/11, residents and staff gathered for a heartfelt remembrance program honoring the lives lost and heroes of September 11. We were joined by guest Pastor Phyllis Merritt, who led a moving reflection.

A special thank-you to Worcester Wreath Co for providing the beautiful wreath handcrafted for the ceremony. ❤️🤍💙

🚲🍦 We had so much fun during National Assisted Living Week! This was a fantastic afternoon enjoying Darling's Ice Cream for a Cause and some fresh-air bike rides around the grounds! ☀️

😋🍕 On this day of our National Assisted Living Week celebration, staff and residents made their own individual pizzas for lunch — and they were as delicious as they look! From fresh veggies to plenty of cheese, everyone added their own creative touch. 👩‍🍳

It was the perfect recipe for laughter, teamwork, and a tasty afternoon together! ❤️

🍦🔥 Residents enjoyed a wonderful trip to Polar Treat in Perry, Maine for lunch and ice cream — followed by a beautiful evening campfire back at the Home.

We gathered around the fire for live music from Alan & Josh Pulk and of course… plenty of s’mores and hot cocoa! ☕🍫

This was another great day in our National Assisted Living Week celebration!

💜🎶 Tammy and Jay Roy — talented musicians all the way from Texas — blessed us with beautiful live music as part of our National Assisted Living Week celebration! 🎸

They’ve traveled to 45 states, sharing their gift of music and uplifting spirits at Veterans’ Homes across the country. Big thank you to Tammy and Jay!

We’re so grateful to the Ellsworth Elks Lodge # 2743 for their generous donation in support of our residents. This gift will help make birthdays extra special, with parties and gifts throughout the year.

Administrator Arlena and Activity Supervisor Lisa were honored to accept this donation on behalf of our Home. 💜💙

This August day on the backfield of Beals Island was perfect picnic weather. And perfect for watermelon and red hot dogs! 🍉🌭 How lucky we are to enjoy outings like this together. 💜💙
