Marshall Healthcare Marshall Healthcare is a 64 bed nursing home located in Machias Maine They provide personal attention and care in our home-like setting.

Marshall Healthcare Facility, located in beautiful downeast Maine on Beal Street, is convenient to downtown Machias, in a quiet residential neighborhood. We offer 4 levels of patient centered professional care and support for residents that includes short-stay Skilled Rehabilitation, long term care, hospice, and respite care. Dining services are provided in room or in one of our group dining rooms and catered to therapeutic dietary needs. The activity department offers social, devotional, and exercise programs with the holiday and theme day festivities. Our employees are among the most dedicated and loyal caregivers with some having worked here over 25 years. We offer comprehensive 24 hour nursing care along with clinical management of chronic disease. In addition to the attention provided by our highly trained and skilled staff, our residents have complete access to restorative nursing and therapy services on an as needed basis. Through professional care planning and engaging activities, the aim is to help individuals live as independently as possible, with dignity and respect.

Meet Mark St. Peter, RN ✨

Mark was nominated by staff, residents, families and friends as employee of the month for the month of October!

Mark has been employed as a charge nurse at our facility for two years and has been a great addition to our team.

Mark is reliable, trustworthy and punctual and is always willing to help when needed!

Some of Marks nominations mentioned that he is:
-punctual, always on time
-reliable and trustworthy
-always willing to jump in and help
-will always stay past his shift to complete the shift tasks and charting
-always willing to pick up extra shifts to help out.

When Mark isn’t working, he spends his time at his camp on the lake or cooking with the vegetables and herbs he grows himself.
