Hi Everyone! I am back from Maternity leave and I am now taking clients! I took a long break when my sweet baby girl was born but I am finally ready to be able to leave her to attend a birth. That being said if you are having a baby and want to have a doula for support, I would be incredibly honored and love to be that person for you! Or if you know someone who is pregnant and wants a doula at their birth, feel free to give them my information. I am so excited to get back to being a doula! I can support any kind of birth you want-unmedicated, having an epidural, not sure until you are in labor, c-section, etc. If you have questions about having a doula, please reach out I would be happy to answer any questions you have! Since October is National Pregnancy and Infant loss awareness month, Here are a few things you can do for someone who is grieving the loss of their baby:

1. Acknowledge their loss- Even if they do not want to talk about it just let them know you are here for them! Having a miscarriage or loosing an infant can be very lonely experience.
2. Offer to drop of groceries or bring over dinner
3. Send a card or small gift showing that you care and are there for them!

Little gestures can mean the world to someone who feels alone and experience a loss of a baby!

October is National Pregnancy and infant loss awareness month. This month is extremely hard for me personally because I have not only had 3 miscarriages but 1 happened in October last year and the other 2 babies were due in October. I don’t talk about it much because I have 2 healthy children and I know so many women struggle to get pregnant with even just one Baby but every loss is a loss and I shouldn’t feel that way.I want to spread awareness on how common miscarriages actually are and I am here for anyone going through this because you are not alone. It can feel like such a lonely battle because there is such a stigma around miscarriages and people don’t talk about them. It is painful both physically and mentally. 1 in 4 women will loose a baby during pregnancy, birth or infancy. Let’s break the silence!
