You may have noticed that our community has a new name! Formerly Oakleigh of Macomb, we are so excited to be a part of the StoryPoint Group family under our new name, StoryPoint Macomb.

🎉🍝 Monthly Men’s Club - Pasta Bar! 🍝🎉
The gentleman joined together this month to enjoy an absolutely delicious, build your own pasta bar!

Housemade marinara and alfredo sauce, fresh sautéed veggies, sausage, meatballs, grilled shrimp, with homemade garlic bread with fresh cannolis, cream puffs, and eclairs to top it off!

The guys chit-chatted their hearts out and then rolled into a few games of cards. Overall, another successful Men’s Club for the books!

🍗💐 This month’s Ladie’s Club - Bouquets & BBQ 💐🍗
Treated the beautiful women of Oakleigh to a delicious barbecue style lunch and a fun, and colorful build your own bouquet bar!

The ladies loved picking out their own vase and choosing their own flowers to help make the cold winter day feel a little bit more like spring!

In honor of Valentine’s Day, our lovely residents were spoiled by the dining department!

Fluffy pink waffles, a build your own omelette bar, napkins in the shapes of hearts, fresh flowers on every table , and spaghetti with housemade sauce and hand rolled meatballs to top it off.

Not only was love in the air, but also in their bellies. We hope everyone had a very Happy Valentine’s Day ❤️

They are great supporters of our Macomb Township Senior Center and have helped us put on events and programs like the Spooktacular Luncheon, Euchre Parties, the Detroit Tiger Tailgate Lunch and more.

Nothing excites us more than the opportunity to celebrate one of our residents, especially for their 100th BIRTHDAY! 🎉

The beautiful, talented, sweet as can be, Gina celebrated the start of her 100th year! Saying the secret to her longevity was being in show business where she would travel around the country and perform with the USO as a dancer.

In addition to being surrounded by friends and family, Gina was inducted into the to the Macomb 100’s club, received a certificate from congress, a proclamation, a gift box full of USO items, and a personal video from the 2026 Miss America!

We are grateful for those who help us make days like this possible! Mark Hackel, Kerry Jantz, Kim, Muhammed, Miss America 2026 Cassie Donegan, the USO, Tom, Alan, and of course the Oakleigh team!

We had a full house today for our monthly ladies club! This month’s theme was: Sip & Dip!
🍪🥂🥯🎉
We had a charcuterie style spread of different flavored pretzels, crackers, chips, and bagel crisps to pair with four different dips.

The ladies also enjoyed two different mocktails and we baked cookies during the event so they got to finish off with a hot chocolate chip cookie.

We love to host activities in our building, but we also venture out to our local senior centers too!

Our Sales Director, Kyla, hosted a fun winter craft at the Shelby Township Senior Center with our co-sponsor, HOME Senior Movers!

We do events like this on a regular basis so even if you’re not ready to move in with us, you can always join us and get to know us through these fun events!
