Reach to Impact Group(R2I) is a community organization that sets out to bridge the gap between individuals and local sexual health resources. Focusing on how to teach people about sexual health empowerment instead of shame. Our group meets people where they are (Churches, Health Fair, Institutions of Higher Learning, open community forums, and private residences) and offer sexual health information sessions. We have established relationships with the North Central Health District, the Department of Public Health, and other licensed healthcare providers to lead people to local sexual health resources (i.e. etiology, diagnostic counseling, prevention, and referral). Our group also assists people with HIV and AIDS-related concerns in order to meet both their instrumental (i.e. transportation, financial, medical, case management, planning, advocacy) and expressive (i.e. friendship, support, companionship) needs within the Middle Georgia Area.
